Free Printable: Daily Salah Tracker for Kids
A simple, beautiful tracker to help your child build the habit of the five daily prayers. Designed with love by Umm Aishah.
One of the most common questions we receive is: How do I get my child to pray consistently?
The answer, like most things in tarbiyah, is patient consistency with a touch of creativity. That is why we designed the Daily Salah Tracker β a printable that turns prayer into a gentle, daily habit your child actually looks forward to.
What is inside
- A weekly grid for all five prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha)
- A small checkbox for each prayer β satisfying for little hands to tick
- A space for notes: What did you learn about salah today?
- A simple reward key: colour in a star when all five are complete
How to use it
- Print one per week. Stick it on the fridge or pin it at your childβs eye level.
- Explain the rule. We tick the box after we pray, not before. Allah loves honesty.
- Start small. If your child is 4 or 5, focus on just one or two prayers a day.
- Celebrate the week. When the week is full of ticks, give a small reward β a sticker, a trip to the park, or extra story time.
- Do not punish empty boxes. If a prayer was missed, encourage them to make it up and try again tomorrow.
Why this matters
The Prophet (ο·Ί) said: βThe first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound.β
Teaching our children to pray is the single most important habit we can instil. A simple tracker will not do the job alone, but it is a visible reminder β for both parent and child β that salah is the priority of the day.
